2019 東海大學英語話劇比賽

活動簡介

英語中心今年將持續主辦東海大學英語話劇比賽（Tunghai University English Play Contest）。此競賽活動的主旨在於鼓勵學生透過劇本創作，活用英文並發揮創意、培養團隊合作精神，並於舞台上及大眾面前展現英文能力的自信心。參賽隊伍將依英文程度分兩個場次競賽，分別於5/28 及5/29兩晚，於語文館007（LAN007）進行。每場次限額八組參賽，由英語中心評審老師選出三組優勝隊伍。有意參賽的同學請至英語中心網頁詳閱比賽規則，並於5/6 (週一)— 5/20 (週一)期間繳交填妥之報名表及完整劇本。英語中心老師依完整文件繳交順序審核後，將於英語中心官網公告參賽隊伍名單。主辦單位在5/28 及5/29兩晚活動開始進行前，將提供輕食，並打破慣例，準備多項精美實用用品，於比賽進行中公開抽獎，以舒緩競賽的緊張氣氛，參賽者及觀眾皆有機會中獎。竭誠歡迎東海教職員生踴躍報名，並蒞臨觀賞。

The English Language Center (ELC) is delighted to announce that Tunghai University English Play Contest is continuing this school year. On two evenings, May 28 & 29, the ELC will be hosting the 2019 Tunghai University English Play Contest in LAN007.
This activity has been a tradition at Tunghai University and has met with enthusiasm by contestants and viewers over the years. Students who join the contest need to collaborate in groups to showcase their English writing, speaking, and acting skills at their best. This staged performance in group efforts has usually been reported as educational, rewarding, and enjoyable. Student and faculty audiences are also in favor of the activity as they are entertained and/or inspired by the remarkable performances on stage.
The contest guidelines and application form can be found on the ELC website. There will be refreshments and prize drawing during the two evenings. THU faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to enjoy students’ performance.
